I was delighted to see a card in the mailbox from Lois. We haven't been stamping lately so she sent me this little tea bag holder for Marie and I to have a cup of tea on her. It's a great idea for gift cards and has all kinds of possibilities. Thanks to my fabulous friend Lois. I returned the favor of a card but forgot to take a picture before it left.

Heard You're "Dragon" Get Well Card
My friend, Lois, made a card similar to this one using Dustin Pike's dragon digital image. After seeing Lois' beautiful card I knew I had to try it myself. I like the way it turned out. Lois' card had a full front but I used the every 2-inch fold method. I used Copic markers and I think I'm getting the hang of them. That Copic blender really works well.

A RAK BACK for Trina
I have a friend probably 2 miles away that I corresponded with in a SU Yahoo Group. We've never met but we have been sending each other cards at least once a year, maybe more. She sent me a wonderful 4th of July card and I'm returning this one to her. It's a The Angel Company stamp set and I think it's just darling. I used a diagram in the spring supplement 2008 and copied the Circle Card Case sample pretty closely. Hope you like it, Trina, and Kim, if you are reading this, send me your blog address again. I lost it and need to catch up with what you are doing.

Just a Pinch potholders
I bought this pattern online at You Can Make This. This item was made using a Keyka Lou pattern. You put your hands in the pockets and are great for grabbing hot lids that are on pots. I used my artist license on the back ones and tried doing a binding around it instead of following instructions. These will be great gifts and 4 of them are promised right away. I can see holiday ones, i.e. Halloween, Thanksgiving, Christmas, etc. even if they are just decorations for the kitchen.

Get Well for Denise
My friend, Denise, was having a new bone fused in her leg (probably someone else could describe it better (makes me cringe)) but anyway, this is a card that I made for her. She'll be recovering for a long time so I'll probably keep adding to her get well card list. I can't remember the stamp company that I got this from and it's unmounted so can't tell you.
