Polka Dot Dress

Summer dresses are fun to make and you can whip them up in no time. This is a dress for my teen niece.

Santa Fold-Out Card

Time to start the Christmas cards and Dustin Pike gave this image as a Wednesday freebie to get us going. Bless that man! I love this Santa guy. My purse has lost a few $$$ buying his digital images but they are wonderful and worth it. Laura and I both copied a basic fold-out card sent by Lois.

Baby Shower Cake

Laura Pierce, aks Sunshine Stamper, was making a cake (Hershey Nuggets) for a baby shower and I volunteered to help so I would know how to make one on my own. This cake was for twins, one boy, one girl. It turned out so sweet. Now I know how to do one myself! I'm so glad my friends are so talented and smart.

Knitted Baby Bib and Birthday Dress

I learned how to knit cables in my Yahoo knitting group and I found this baby bib pattern by Andrea Pomerantz, string-theory.blogspot.com. I have a new nephew so I made this for him.

Elisa, my gr. niece, is turning 4 this weekend and I made her this dress. I love to sew little girls clothes.

Birthday Card for My Sister

This is the card I made for my sister, who lives in Colorado, for her birthday. By the way, she's older than me. (Just wanted to throw that in). My neighbor, Marie, got some new paper and shared with me so she wanted me to show her what I could do with it. I punched, cuttlebugged, sewed, stamped and hand- delivered it. The greens actually were better matched for real but the picture isn't showing it.

Wear That Sunscreen and Get Those Bumps Checked

This is the result of malignant melanoma. My sister had a little bump removed from her arm a couple of times but the third time the doctor sent her to a dermatologist. They removed the bump and sent it in for a biopsy and found out it was malignant and they needed to take out a little more. This is the result. She wants to tell everyone not to let these things go. Go have it checked so this won't happen to you.
