My gr. niece, Elisa, is turning 5 this month and I made her this rag quilt. It turned out pretty good this time. In a previous post you might have noticed that my dog ended up with the last one. I didn't put it together well enough but this is the learning process. I really enjoy making these and have 2 or 3 more on the list.

Happy Birthday Dea
My friend, Dea, just had a birthday and I made her a special card. She always makes me feel really good about my cards, my stained glass, my little bit of musical knowledge (not so much anymore) and I wanted to wish her a very happy birthday. She sent me a photo of this card framed in her bedroom! She also saves my Christmas cards and puts them under her tree every year. Dea, you are wonderful and I hope all your birthdays are the best and as long as I am still around, I will make my very best efforts on hand-stamped cards just for you. Fondly, Sam
Wednesday Stamper Cards
These are cards and items that we made at our last Wednesday stamping party. We still are missing Carolyn because of her surgery last month but we hope she joins us soon.
Lois taught us how to make this flower - pretty isn't it? Imagine it on a present!
Laura brought us a Christmas card to make. Lots of work on this one.

A Quilt for My Baby - Mac
My mentor and friend, Denise, taught me how to make a rag quilt. This is my first one and it had a couple of problems after I got it washed. A few weak seams came apart and made holes that couldn't be fixed. Mac said "that's OK, I like it!" so the quilt is his now. He doesn't seem to mind all the pink. My baby is a sick little "old guy" with kidney problems so he gets anything he wants.

Princess Skirt
Yesterday I decided I needed some "fabric therapy" (as Denise calls it) and make a little girl skirt I found on http://weefolkart.com. It's an Eight Panel Princess Skirt and the instructions are very understandable. I feel really proud when I can make something without a pattern.
